We always take core themes as the basis for our projects and seasons. The core theme of the next few years is based on a comparison and a knowledge exchange of music traditions and playing techniques. It was, undoubtedly, the support from the EU thanks to the programme "Culture 2007-2013" which started the ball rolling for the PurPur project. The project submitted by us, "PurPur - European Sound Interchange", was chosen as part of this programme.
